Sustainable Stylist

Styling models, actors and influencers in sustainable fashion for fashion and lifestyle photo shoots.

An introduction to my background and experience

Styling first captured my attention when I became a model. Looking at how different textiles appeared in different lighting, how some flowing designs lent themselves to creative slow shutter speeds, how fashion could add depth of meaning to an image beyond just the visuals. These were elements I had never considered, naive to everything that went into a photo shoot. I struck up an interest in styling my introduction through modelling because of this and it is safe to say the rest is history.

Over the past 3/4 years I have steadily built a styling portfolio by initially styling photo shoots I myself was modelling, to reaching out to brands and photographers to style external shoots that they were leading.

I have had the pleasure of styling a diverse range of models in leading slow fashion brands such as Isabelle Pennington Edmead and All About Audrey.

Below you can see some of my favourite shoots that I have styled solely, with an assist and/ or taking a stronger lead in the pre-production phase. One consistency throughout is working as sustainably and ethically as possible with the clothing sourced and methods done so.

Sustainability in styling

The key throughout all of my work is that sustainability and ethics remain at the core.

  • Over time created and nourished relationships with brands who centre sustainability and ethics and can back their own work up with receipts.

  • Taken steps to personally reduce my impact that comes with styling. For example, not using unnecessary plastics and travelling responsibly.
